Why Attend?:
Older adults and their families are confronted with a number of legal issues pertaining to health and long-term care planning. The Rochester Elder Law Fair will provide FREE, objective information on a variety of legal topics to assist with both current and future planning. Workshops as well as individual consultations with an attorney will be available.

Who Should Attend?:
Older adults, family members, caregivers, case managers, and others in the field of aging and long-term care.

MCOFA Public Hearing:
The Monroe County Office for the Aging will be conducting a public hearing for discussion of the 2017 Monroe County Area Plan for Long Term Services and Supports. An abstract of the public hearing can be obtained by accessing the Monroe County website at or by calling (585) 753-6280. The Office for the Aging is responsible for planning, coordinating, funding, and advocating for services which meet the needs of Monroe County residents age 60 and older, and assistance for individuals with disabilities, and their caregivers of any age. We welcome up to two minutes of public comment from individuals to help us further support and fine tune our plan to ensure we have a the greatest collective impact.
